Our group is growing a lot and many new people have joined our Club since 2004. IBN is doing great and I’m always so glad to see how many of you come each Wednesday!!

From being “just” a meet-up for a few friends as an excuse to have a beer together, IBN has become a steady group of folks that meet every Wednesday to share Motorcycle stories, interests and lifestyle.
Many of you have received our club-card, banners are going up, shirts will be available for purchase also shortly. All this, together with running the websites and the board, are starting to require some attention, time and some money as well. All this is GREAT because it means that the Club is growing and that more people are sharing our Ducatista lifestyle.
To sustaining the club, I thought a Supporter Subscription Campaign could help.
In that prospective I have been working to provide us with some interesting advantages.
· I am happy to announce that I have reached a deal with Rick and he will be extending the WORLD FAMOUSE, Tuesday and Thursday “Burger Madness Deal” to Wednesday ONLY for us Members!!
· Also I am working with RedBull to have private screenings of selected World GP and World Super Bike championships races, at their facilities in Santa Monica.
· I am planning on arranging a bimestrial social dinner at local Italian Restaurants
All of these nice advantages can not be offered to everyone but only to Supporting Members.
How to become a Supporting Member?
1) Go to the PAYPAL site www.paypal.com
2) Make a donation of at least 15$ (don’t be shy to donate more) to admin@socaldmc.com specifying in the NOTES your real name, your handle/screen name and address (that’s the only way I can identify you J and send you your membership package)
Card and DOC pins/patches will be sent to you or available for pickup at IBN, as soon as we have them printed…
FOR THE DOC REGISTRATION WITH DUCATI:
...so, if you are a member of this club, follow the instructions, sign up on the Ducati site and you will ba able to pick up your swag at IBN when it comes in.
The DOC group @ the factory just announced that the online registration form for DOC welcome kits (the cool schwag kits from the factory, for DOC club members) is NOW OPEN.

The instructions are fairly simple (heck, i was able to fill it out successfully).
VERY IMPORTANT: i just tested the process ... you will be emailed automatically after you submit the request form, so please make certain to use your correct email address. once you receive the confirmation email, click on the link in the email. ONLY THEN, will your registration form be processed, so i can approve it in the presidents area.

DETAILED INSTRUCTION FOR THE CORRECT FILLING OF THE FORM
1. Fill in every part of the form (the DUCATI CODE IS OPTIONAL)
2. Enter your e-mail address where requested
3. Select your country and your Doc Club (SoCalDMC). You are allowed to select at least 3 clubs but your request gives you the right to receive only one kit.
4. Wait for the activation e-mail to arrive at the address you have specified and click on the link inside it to confirm the address and activate the application.
5. Complete data entry and click "Send".
6. Your application will be received by the system, which will then submit it to your President.
7. You will receive a message showing the status of your application. It may be:
* Approved (the president has recognized you as one of his members and authorizes delivery of the kit)
* Denied (Possible causes: the president has not recognized you as one of his members and does not authorise delivery of the kit. Contact him if you require further information / the president has noted erroneous data, canceled your application and invites you to fill in the form again. The procedure will recommence from the start: contact him should you require further information or to notify erroneous data entry)
IMPORTANT: We recommend that you only apply for the Welcome Kit after joining a Ducati Official Club via the channels requested by the clubs choosen.
